"Greg Coplen is not only an outstanding worship leader on the stage but he brings his authentic walk with God off the stage to the experience. He has greatly ministered to the Oak Hills family and I believe will be a blessing to all who stand with him in the worship of our mighty and merciful God."

Greg Coplen is above all my friend and I have walked this journey of recovery and redemption with him. Having a story of Recovery is not unique—what is unique about Greg is his ability to craft and write relevant songs with a relevant voice that not only encapsulate his story but draw others to the redemptive power of Christ.

With a unique sound and song writing prowess that is profound God uses Greg to tell the story of every prodigal son. I have watched his music transform lives and am blessed to be a part of his story.

For over five years he has walked in faithfulness and now as he ventures out in obedience I know God is going to use his story to touch others.

Hey everyone, thanks for stopping by my page. I hope that the content of the page and the message are meaningful and life-changing to you. My hope  is that this will reach out to people who are in recovery from all sorts of hurts, habits and hang-ups through the power of music, worship and my story of recovery through Christ. My wife and kids play a large part in this outreach as they travel with me all over the United States in hopes of reaching out to those who are in a place of despair and looking for a way out.

"I am a worship leader, singer/songwriter and speaker with a testimony that tells the story of my lifetime battle with alcoholism and God's intervention in my life that has lead to freedom in Christ. I have led worship and told my story at churches, recovery groups and other venues all over the United States. My "presentation" is centered around the story of the Prodigal Son and how that has played out in my life. The majority of the music I write and perform comes from my struggles with alcoholism and the subsequent recovery.

On August 8th of 2005 I was driven to the emergency room of University Hospital in San Antonio, TX to detox for the last time from my alcohol addiction. I had been in treatment several times before with no success. I looked upon this as my last chance. God started a work that day in me that has led to complete sobriety since. He has given me back my family, my career, the opportunity to bless Him with my story and hundreds of other blessings.

As a result of this journey God has called me to share my story with as many people as possible. Through sharing my testimony and my original music that God has gifted me to create I reach out to thousands of people. People who need to hear that God still loves them no matter where they have been or what they have done. God still wants to prepare the way for them to run back home."
